ONE SOURCE DONATES TO UNICEF

One Source VMS donated 500 T-shirts designed specially for the Tap Project’s 2009 event. During World Water Week, March 22-28, 2009 the Tap Project raised significant donations and awareness for UNICEF’s water and sanitation programs.

The Tap Project started in New York City in 2007, to raise money for UNICEF’s efforts to provide clean and accessible water to millions of children worldwide. What started as 300 New York City restaurants asking patrons to donate $1 or more, for the tap water that they were used to getting for free, turned into a national movement with thousands of restaurants, corporations, volunteers, advertising agencies, community groups, local governments, and diners across the country participated in 2008.

REFLECTIONS IN A THOR EQUITY PROPERTY

Thor Equities wanted to use a different style of display to incorporate attractive and innovative art and showcase their property on W 29th St. One Source VMS designed and installed a 3 story window display as an art piece for Thor Equities. On the first floor, to reflect the “good ole days” silhouettes of New Yorkers of the 50s and 60s were used, but displayed with a modern twist of metallic vinyl. On all three floors was an illustrated cityscape as a backdrop for the human silhouettes. If you stepped away from the building you can see the whole piece as art with each window’s contribution.
