History
One Source was founded on a simple yet seemingly unexplored business model:
To provide our clients with options.
The infrastructure of One Source was designed to be ELASTIC, facilitating evolution and embracing new technology as it was introduced.
Our goal: To provide the most advanced and comprehensive Visual Marketing Solutions ever seen... all in one place.
One Source was incorporated in August of 1998. In the beginning, we partnered with a wide variety of vendors. We guaranteed that every client request was properly researched and flawlessly executed with the most technologically advanced methods, assuring a cost-effective and high quality product each and every time.
In 2002, the company took a bold leap forward that positioned One Source as a leader in the graphics community. We opened a state of the art manufacturing facility in Long Island City, utilizing brand new Visual Marketing technology. We were determined to provide the most resourceful service imaginable, and we succeeded.
Today, One Source VMS is the answer for all Visual Marketing Solutions. Comprised of five distinct departments, One Source truly has the answer to solve any and all projects. Our exclusive "I.E.P.E."(Inspiration, Engineering, Production, Execution) method enables us to complete just about any project from simple to the most complex no matter what the turnaround time. | Back To Information | Top |
People And Specialists
| The Core | Specialists | Senior Executives | Senior Managers |
Visual Marketing Solutions is comprised of five separate departments: Printing, Display, Promo, Xpress and Interactive. The company is structured so that all the departments are linked together which enables them to communicate effectively. Think of threads through a piece of durable material - the more threads that are strung together the stronger the material. At One Source, the more people cross-trained throughout our departments, the stronger the Company. We refer to these people as our Core.
The Core:
Our Account Executivesunderstand our business and the inner workings. Their extensive knowledge enables them to explain the processes in detail and provide creative, effective options to our clients. They are able to shape a project and understand how to deliver exactly what the client needs. Additionally, they are able to advocate on behalf of our clients to make sure the projects get out on time and within budget.
Our Senior Management team is comprised of select industry leaders with extensive and diverse backgrounds. There are people from traditional printing, digital printing, prepress, display, estimating, advertising, creative, finance and sales. This team has been formed to work together to establish effective workflows, solve problems and manage the life of every project that passes through the organization.
Our Production Team has a staff of more than 120 people. Our experienced team enables us to handle a multitude of projects at once, and also troubleshoot hot spots before problems arise. Not every department is busy at every moment, and it is also hard to predict exactly when a large project may walk through the door. By having our production staff able to work in different departments, the company is flexible and able to react. We have designated specialists that head up each of our five departments.
Being that the One Source is comprised of five departments we realize that not everyone in the organization knows everything about every detail. So to offset this we have designated specialist for each area. | Back To People | Top |
The Specialist:
Having specialists is important for guaranteeing the highest quality. However, all departments must be able to understand and appreciate the needs of its counterparts. That's why we encourage cross-training and familiarity between the different departments and processes. Because of this, projects are able to transition seamlessly through the different stages of production.
Departmental:
Our experts are the best in the world. They hail from diverse backgrounds and have many years of practical experience built upon formal training. Each Specialist has three main functions at One Source: 1) to run and recommend the best way to handle their department 2) to work with our clients on a one-to-one basis, ensuring a complete understanding of every project and 3) to assist Account Executives with the relevant technical knowledge necessary to guarantee the proper execution of each job.
PODS:
Our Account Coordinators are divided into PODS. These PODS are based on the type of work coming into the production facility and are divided by department. Each POD is comprised of a senior production manager, a production coordinator and a customer service representative. By having a POD handle a project, we can assure that there are back-up people on every job. | Back To People | Top |
Senior Executives
Andrew Eisberg (President Partner)
Andrew Eisberg is the co-founder and CEO of One Source Visual Marketing Solutions.
Previously, Andrew spent more than 10 years in sales and advertising. After college, he began his career working at Lintas WorldWide Advertising and later landed a sales position at one of the top printing Companies in New York City. During his tenure, he learned all aspects of the printing and graphics industry and quickly became a sales manager. It soon became apparent to him that there was a void for a full-service, solutions based printing and graphics company. In 1998, Andrew started One Source with the idea that selling service would come before selling product.
Through his innovative vision and willingness to take risks, Andrew has grown One Source from a 2-man sales operation to a full-service Company with more than 120 employees and over 50,000 square feet of office and production space. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities of running a company, Andrew still manages his own projects and clients -- many of whom have been with him for almost 15 years. He also continues to provide guidance and leadership to the Company's strong sales team.
Mike Behar (Senior Vice President Partner)
Mike was one of the original founders of One Source. After spending many years in the graphic industry as a top performing Account Executive and Sales Manager; Mike realized there was a better, more efficient way to provide reliable service. He formed a partnership with Andrew Eisberg in 1998 and began One Source. The company was formed on the simple idea of a true one stop business for all graphic needs.
In the early years Mike, took on many roles as a sales person, a production manager, and the CFO. With true perseverance and hard work Mike grew the business exponentially year after year. He brought many great ideas to the company including Multi Service Marketing and Concept to Completion workflows.
For the last five years, Mike has taken on a more active role as COO. He has been an integral part in decisions and negotiations on equipment purchases, MIS systems and technology. He also assists in running the personnel department.
After all these years, Mike still takes pride in the relationships that he has built and maintained with his clients. It is Mike's enormous presence and likeability that has made him a successful leader in the graphics industry.
Michael B Frank (Vice President)
Michael joined the One Source team in the beginning of 2000. He was hired to help develop and run the company's first true expansion. The idea was to provide an additional service to our already established client base. At the time, One Source was receiving many requests for specialty advertising and promotional items. It was Michael's job to hire a team, create a workflow, and align with vendors to satisfy our client's needs.
Under Michael's close supervision and dedication, our promotional advertising and outsourcing department has shown exponential growth. This was achieved through Michael's great understanding a customer's brand and industry.
Michael's ideas have brought great success to his department and has made us a leader in the industry. Michael's days-to-day activities also include helping to market and promote the business both, externally and internally.
Kevin Walters (Vice President)
Kevin was one of the earliest members to the One Source Team. He started with the company when it only had 2 Macs and a color copier. As the business grew Kevin took on more and more responsibility. He has had a hand in almost every aspect of business from the original prepress department to shop manager. Kevin presently runs our account coordinator department which is made up of 15 people.
Kevin is a dedicated, hardworking individual who is known around the plant as the jack-of -all-trades. He is calming and reassuring, but most of all, he is the person that everyone turns to when they need the job done right.
Sean Burke (Vice President)
Sean came to One Source when the company was in the midst of its largest transformation, from a print brokering business to a major manufacturing company. The change required a bold look at every aspect of the company including the implementation of our ERP system, workflows, and prepress. It was Sean's job to execute these initiatives smoothly and successfully.
Sean is an integral part of the One Source team. His main function is to run the day-by-day operations in our Long Island City manufacturing facility. He does this through his strong ability of logically deducing and analyzing situations and acting upon them.
Sean has also helped set-up and maintain numerous integrated marketing teams for many of our largest accounts. He is a fair, hard working individual that is willing to do what ever it takes to get the job done right.
Neal Cohen (Vice President)
Neal came to One Source with a very diverse and successful sales history. His experience in the financial, telecommunications and web development industries provided a solid base for relationship style sales. Neal rose quickly through the ranks of the One Source sales team with determination and unwavering persistence. He was quick to break sales records and was promoted first to Senior Account Executive, then to Sales Manager and finally Vice President of Sales.
Neal's love for his clients and the industry truly personifies who he is. He is also very respected by his co-workers and sales team for his dedication and hard work. | Back To People | Top |

Display
Let us help you make a big statement. Our full service visual display department has all the technology and know-how to make your presence stand out.
Details
We've recognized the need in our marketplace for a full-service Visual Display Company. There are many clients who need more than large format prints, simple Duratrans prints or a few cad-cut graphics. Some clients require full-blown national campaigns with same-day multiple Ship-tos, custom window concepts and full creative out-of-the box thinking. We have created our One Source Display division to meet those clients' special needs.
One Source views visual display as a diverse and sophisticated way for companies to convey their messages in many different formats. We've identified four levels of display: the very basic; the complicated; the very complicated; and the full creative concept solution.
One Source Display is a truly distinctive idea, unmatched anywhere else. Combining our production, technology and strategic expertise under one roof gives any company the flexibility to produce just about anything at any size in any time frame.
Project Type
Level One - Basic. A blowup presentation board; directional signs at a trade show; twenty counter cards to promote a new product launch or a couple of duratrans that will be seen at an entrance of a retail store. All of these are relatively easy to produce and can be turned around in a very short period of time.
Level Two - Complicated. A small visual marketing campaign with a combination of table toppers, posters, and banners; new updated tradeshow graphics for an existing booth; an adhesive vinyl enlargement that needs to be installed on the full wall of a high-end boutique or a large outdoor banner that will hang on scaffolding while a renovation is underway. These projects need a good sense of planning, but can be orchestrated with ease when handled properly.
Level Three - Very Complicated. A full blown product launch with a combination of c-prints and duratrans shipped to 500 separate locations; an intricate window display rollout consisting of visual graphics, cad-cut lettering and custom-made props with shipping and installation into 40 locations all within 5 days or a stadium completely transformed with 100-foot, floor-to-ceiling graphics wrapped around every inch of the space to replicate another place or time. All installed and de-installed for a 3-day event. High level graphics with superior service.
Level Four - Creatively Concepted. This is where our knowledgeable creative team will help come up with creative solutions that can be applied to any of the above level options. We employ a full staff of advertising specialists, art directors and visual merchandisers who will sit down with you and come up with creative, unique ideas using their years of experience while, at the same time, keeping in mind all the latest technology and then adapting it to both budget and time constraints.
Case Studies
Level 1
Client: Calvin Klein Underwear Products: Digital C-print mounted to Gator Board
The client had a file from their current ad campaign that they needed to have produced for a retailer. They uploaded the image on our upload center, we sent them back a pdf proof for cropping. After approval we produced 3 18x42" photographic prints, mounted them to Gator Board and sent them out via Fed-Ex so the retailer could slide them into pre-existing frames.
Level 2
Client: Ben Sherman Products: digital photography
Ben Sherman came to us for help redoing the windows at their flagship store. They needed a solution that would use their image on the window but for people to still have the ability see in and out. We recommended a translucent material that we could print on, then silhouette around the images, finished with our custom installation.
Level 3
Client: French Connection Product: adhesive vinyl graphics, wood working, Laser cut plexiglass,
French Connection came to us with the idea of using an old VW bus and surf scene throughout their display windows across the country. They had art and images, but they needed One Source Display to figure the logistics of producing the buses so that they were life size and motorized, while staying on budget. By using MDF board and vinyl adhesive, we were able to simulate an actual bus. We engineered the props with pulleys and weights to synchronize the vehicle, so that it moved up and down and the doors opened and closed. We also covered the back walls with an adhesive vinyl to replicate a beach scene. To brand the windows, we produced large logos that were reverse mounted to clear plexiglass laser cut to a specific shape and hung from the ceiling above the bus. The project was produced and shipped in crates to each store, where we had our installers waiting to set them up.
Level 4
Client: Godiva Product: conceptualization and art direction, cad cut, die-sublimation printing on fabric, wood working, Electronic engineering
Godiva Chocolatier was launching a new brand. In each of their most heavily-trafficked stores (flagships) they wanted to have a customized window display that will be designed, produced and installed. The only information provided to us was the name of the product, with designs and images. They needed One Source Display to fully conceptualize, produce, deliver and install each display in 6 weeks. They wanted a fresh new idea, but, because each location had dramatically different size windows they needed something that was easily scalable. The concept also needed a shelf-life of at least 3 months, but also needed the potential to be changed and used again at a later date. Most importantly, we had to maintain the look and feel of the existing store while giving the consumer a sense of something new and different. We created illustrations, made mechanicals and prototypes and conceived of dozens of different ideas. We also conducted a field survey in each location for proper measurements and checked electrical constraints. Once the client chose the idea they liked most, we began production. Each display consisted of a floor to ceiling banner that was made of a material that could be viewed from the outside, but was translucent from the inside, so one could still see through the windows. We also custom constructed a semi-permanent stand alone display that used lights and a turntable to feature the new products. Lastly, we constructed a plexiglass sign with two-dimensional cad cut letters that hung from the ceiling. Once complete, we simultaneously delivered each display and assembled them at store level in time for the product launch. | Back To Departments | Top |
Printing And Offset
Our printing and offset department is a full service TRADITIONAL PRESSROOM with the most ADVANCED pre-press, color management, and computer-to-plate TECHNOLOGY in the industry.
Knowing that a perfect job is based on a seamless workflow, we have successfully established a balance that will deliver a great job time and time again. With our robust internal print management system, we are in complete control of every project, from the moment we write up the initial quote to the minute it arrives at its final destination. We know where every project is at all times and where it needs to go next.
Every offset project begins in our estimating department, where the job is thoroughly planned. Every detail is scrutinized to ensure it meets the client's expectations. This is done by creating mock-ups to test paper compatibility with folds, scores, dies and trims as well as binding and complete finishing methods.
Once the estimate and planning are complete, the project heads over to our production team for scheduling and material purchasing. At this point, the project physically begins to take shape. Our Pre-Press Department starts pre-flighting, proofing, and imposing the project.
As a GRACoL certified shop, we can guarantee industry-leading color reproduction and validation using Spectrophotometry to measure color and gray balances.
Now the printing process gets underway. Using traditional line or stochastic printing on one of our four offset presses, we are able to print any job, at any size, at any length, in any time frame. In addition, our skilled pressmen can use their vast experience to bring the color balance, sharpness, contrast and tone to perfect proof likeness.
The last stop in production for the One Source Printing & Offset Department is our comprehensive finishing and binding department, which is capable of folding, perforating, perfect binding, saddle stitching, wire-o and comb binding-to name just a few.
Although our pressroom has many similarities to many shops throughout the industry the method in which we classify projects is very different. Each offset job starts at a "Base Level". This base level is printing in its simplest form: ink on paper. Once we have determined the necessary size and inks, we begin to add additional features. These features can be as simple as trimming, or as complicated as die-scoring, stamping, embossing, intricate folds, or hand assembly and mailing.
The department is set up for accuracy, excellence and quick turnarounds. We've spent many years investing wisely in people and equipment, truly earning our high-end reputation.
Client: Anne Klein Products: offset printing
The client needed a 16 page self cover look book to show off their newest line of clothes to clients. They wanted something that was clean and easy to view, yet not so large as to make it unmanageable. We produced the book on 100lb text paper with 4 over 4 ink, and added a 5th color for the cover. The project was finished on our saddle stitch machine and delivered in 4 days, including proof.
Client: Jimmy Choo Products: offset printing, glossy lamination, mounted to board, foil stamped
Jimmy Choo came to us in need of an invitation for a store opening. They wanted the piece to feel substantial, clean, and classic. The client provided us with the files; we printed the invite on 100lb glossy cover stock, then applied a glossy film lamination and foil stamp. Finally, to give it a heavier feel, we mounted it to a white 50 pt. board. We also supplied a metallic silver envelope with foil stamping. The project was completed in 1 week including proofing, paper selection and production.
Client: Christian Dior Perfumes Product: Custom Manufacture McCoy to Mylar paper, Offset Print, Foil Stamping, Custom Diecutting, Fulfillment.
Our client was launching a new premier fragrance line for the elite consumer. The product's packaging had already been developed in Paris and this direct mail piece was created to send to Saks and Neimans customers to invite them to sample this elite product. In order to achieve the luxurious look of the packaging, the material for the outer envelope needed to be created, because the right paper did not exist.
By fusing matching mylar to McCoy Silk cover we were able to achieve a look that matched the packaging. All logos and indicia were foil stamped to ensure the delicate paper would not scratch during printing. We created a custom dieline for the envelope to ensure it would close without scratching, and also adhere to postal regulations.
The interior folder, inserts, and invitation card, were offset printed and then foil stamped with gold crown foil to create a cohesive look.
Fulfillment of all elements took place to compile the final mail piece. As a final touch, we produced an embossed foil paper, foil stamped seal to complete the project and ensure the integrity of the piece during mailing.
Client: HDS Retail NA Product: Full creative direction and design services, photography, retouching, copywriting, die cut, 6 color printing with combined 4/c and metallic duotone,.bindery.
HDS RNA has been working with One Source VMS for over 5 years, so they were extremely confident bringing their bi-annual sales package to us for a full start-tofinish creative concept. Having designed their marketing package two years earlier, and an interim kit in the off year that was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, we needed to out-do ourselves. The client's only initial design direction was that the piece needed to be "a show stopper".
HDS RNA's business is retail space, so first and foremost, we wanted to highlight the locations they need to market in an unusual and stunning way. We also didn't want to distract the viewer with copy. The client needed several photographs for each package, as well as explanatory copy. The design we developed read like a photo album. The reader could turn the pages and see only beauty shots of the different categories, but if they wanted more information they could fold the page out to reveal several additional pictures, as well as copy. The photography was designed in a format which isolated the full color product within a duotone photograph. The photographic backgrounds were printed using a duotone of silver and black to create a monochromatic duotone that literally jumped off the page. There was only one catch: the client had to have complete trust in our knowledge and abilities because this process would not be visible in proofing, only on the actual printed sheets.
We coordinated the photography which included getting clearance to photograph the interior of an international airport, and had the copywriter developing copy while simultaneously meeting with our CORE to coordinate the printing and production.
The final piece had 13 fold-out pages, a fold-out back cover with two pockets to hold their 5 rate cards, and 32 page store list book. We also incorporated a concealed binding to give the impression of the book being perfect bound.
The client was thrilled with the piece, and continues to be complimented on it.
Promo
One Source Promo and Outsource has established itself as the PREMIER PARTNER for any type of outsourcing need. The uniqueness of our ability to provide quality, service and solutions when involving outside parties is what sets us apart from the rest.

Large volume purchases of shirts, branding on a client supplied item, selecting a specifically themed item to fit within guidelines of a product launch or branding campaign. These types of jobs require planning and expertise to complete the tasks both effectively and efficiently.
Very Complex:
Involves large volume purchases, simple fulfillment, implementing a digital storefront to compliment and help facilitate distribution of products, distribution to 5 or more locations. More planning and guidance are needed to manage these types of projects.

Custom product manufacturing, schematic design, overseas production, innovative packaging concepts, hand assembly and fulfillment, recurring long term campaigns, street team implementation, and material recommendations. These projects require a comprehensive understanding of all production capabilities and logistical concerns.
Client: The New York Times Products: Pens
The New York Times informs account executive that they are going to need pens for mass distribution to New York Times distributors. They wanted a silver, cost effective pen with a 1-C imprint. The Times supplied us with hi-res files, we purchased the pens, and had them branded at a reasonable price. The supplied pens are produced and delivered on time to the client.
Client: Casanova Pendrill Products: T-shirts, golf shirts, picture frames, lanyards, id badges and baseball hats
Casanova Pendrill is the Spanish advertising and marketing arm for the United States Army. They were planning a nationwide recruiting campaign for the summer of 2007, and needed various items for the event. They provided artwork was not optimal for silkscreen or embroidery applications. We advised how to modify it while maintaining US Army guidelines and its marketing message. While the artwork was being revised we moved forward with securing the best price for the project, and coordinating a production schedule. Client then submitted approved artwork, and we purchased all necessary materials. We produced pre-pro samples as discussed and received final client approval. The One Source Promo and Outsource Department followed-up daily with vendors to insure that deadlines were being met. All finished goods were sent to 1 location per client's direction.
Client: Aloft Products: cooler bags, hard hats, shovels, booster charger, napkins, paper cups, tumblers
Aloft wanted custom products that could be used over a period of time to assist in promoting the groundbreaking of new building sites. The products needed to be consistent and represent the brand. In addition, they needed a simple, turn-key method of on-demand ordering and shipping. One Source Promo supplied Aloft with many different options and explained how each component could be executed. In addition, we developed a completely customized website exclusively for internal ordering. The site was consistent with all corporate branding guidelines, and provided a simple means of executing orders on an as need basis.
Client: The Original Penguin Products: Custom Counter Top Displays and Clocks
The Original Penguin was interested in producing custom table top items for each of its stores. We had an initial meeting with the client to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project. The next step was to work up renderings of our interpretation of what the client wanted, and to present these ideas, which included an explanation of the best way to approach the manufacturing. Various materials were presented and preliminary costs were discussed. Once all of the elements were agreed upon, a pre-production sample of each concept was created. The client made a few minor changes to the samples, and then the full production run began, and was managed by the OS PROMO AND OUTSOURCE department. Final products were shipped directly to each store, and the client followed-up a few months later with a re-order of these customized in-store table-tops. | Back To Departments | Top |
Xpress
It is clear that the printing industry has changed dramatically in the last decade. Through digital technology, the ability to design and create on a desktop computer, and the latest in page layout and presentation software, the demand for faster output is astronomical.
One Source Xpress has embraced the notion of high-end output with lightning speed. We looked at the industry and realized that there was a unique way to systematically deliver quality printing by simply breaking out our digital printing from our standard prepress and dedicating specific personnel. By doing this, we have successfully built a business within a business.
When a client calls One Source and asks for Xpress, they will always speak to the same group of people. The jobs are then simply e-mailed to our Xpress upload center. Once the files have been received, an automatic e-mail response is generated and sent back to the client confirming the order. Then a PDF proof is created and is sent for approval. Once approved, the digital printing will begin. Once completed, a dedicated Xpress messenger will deliver the package.
Xpress jobs can be anything from same day turnarounds to more complex projects and are all 100% digital. Xpress can handle any detailed and multi-faceted projects.
This is an alternative to the copy shop on the corner, your desktop printer or your corporate printing facility. It is always fast, always cost-effective and quality-assured; and, with our latest digital technology it is always reliable.
Client: Google Product: Xerox I-Gen digital printing
Google needed 300 double sided 8.5 x 11 flyers for a recruiting symposium-which they only realized after they had all their collateral material together. The project was sent to the Xpress Department via the One Source upload center at noon and was returned back to Google, fully completed, by 5:00PM.
Client: Hawaiian Tropic Zone Product: Vutek
The Hawaiian Tropic Zone decided to do a last minute event to promote the MLB inter-league Games. They wanted to make stand alone signs that they could put in their restaurant and in the windows. In the interest of expediency, the One Source Xpress Department ran the images directly on white foam core by utilizing the Vutek QS 2000 flatbed, which were then attached to easel-back stands. Because of this innovative solution, The Hawaiian Tropic Zone didn't waste extra time in the mounting department.
Client: Armani Product: Xerox 6060
Armani was holding an event to launch a new line. They came to us at the last minute looking for an idea to help dress up the tables. The client wanted to use images of their new product line as counter cards, but we suggested translucent paper with 4 folds to form a 4"x4"x8" tall rectangle with openings on top and bottom. We also recommended placing a small Votive candle in the bottom of the print to illuminate it. It was a simple alternative that was produced quickly and in a small quantity.
Client: J. Crew Product Xerox I-GEN
J. Crew was showing off their new looks in an internal presentation. Although it was not going to consumers, it was highly important that the quality was absolutely perfect. The meeting was for 10:00am Monday morning and the files were not going to be completed until 9pm on Friday night. The Xpress department was able to test 3 types of paper and two types of binding (perfect and saddle stitch). They also made several color movements in the process. The 50 8.5x11" books were delivered with time to spare. | Back To Departments | Top |
Interactive
The Interactive department was created by direct requests from our clients who wanted "MORE" from their printer. We leverage the internet in ways that make BUYING YOUR PRINTING ONLINE AS SIMPLE AS A FEW MOUSE CLICKS.
One Source Interactive services its clients in three distinct ways: One Source VMS StorefrontT is one of the industry's most robust online ordering and graphic purchasing systems. These intuitive websites allow you to manage the buying of marketing collateral or printed items online. You can manage files, documents, users, pricing and approvals right from your desktop. Our approach is to develop proprietary systems in-house, or partner with specialty software vendors whose business is building front and back end web-to-print solutions. Rather than offer a single solution which may not be an exact fit, our approach is to analyze your needs and design or recommend a software product that's perfect.
Variable Data Printing or VDP is a specialized form of marketing where elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next. Using information from a database or external file, we create personalized materials which can improve your response rate by up to 5 times. Variable data printing is mainly used for direct marketing, customer relationship management, and advertising. We produce Web-Sites and E-Mail Marketing campaigns (blasts) using the most advanced state of the art web technology. Our staff of Project Managers, Creative Directors, and Programmers can create a new site for your venture or freshen up an older site. Our Email blasts are sophisticated and advanced, offering an array of features such as video and click rate statistics which help you better plan and manage your marketing ideas. | Back To Departments | Top |
Integrated Marketing
Having the ability to cross purpose our departments gives our clients a huge advantage. It is like having five separate companies under one roof, and it only takes one phone call to get them all to work for you.
We can also establish an entire integrated marketing team to help facilitate long term and complicated projects.
Departmentalizing our business has been an important development in the growth of our company. By doing so, our customers and staff are always clear on where and how to run projects. But, it is important to understand that all of our divisions are cross purposed so that a client can run projects through any and all departments at the same time. We also realize that many of the projects will run through more then one department, meaning that it may start in Offset and end in Display. We refer to this as Integrated Marketing, and it is easily handled because, no matter the number of departments, it will always be handled by only one project manager.
As our client's needs grow, we grow. In many cases, we will set up an Integrated Marketing Team specifically for one account. These teams can consist of a single specific production manager that the client can call directly every time they need to send in a project, or they can be extremely elaborate, consisting of art directors, retouchers, program and production managers, and packing managers-all of whom are hired for the single propose of maintaining and servicing a single account.
These teams are responsible for managing entire campaigns including storing and referencing gigabytes of digital assets, plus having comprehensive knowledge of the brand's style and how to manage a campaign. On the administrative side, we will help the client by assisting and managing budgets and important production deadlines.
By forming these teams, we are essentially partnering with our clients and, at the same time, adding professional expertise for the client. We view ourselves as more than vendors, and by adding an Integrated Marketing Team we are adding just one more resource to ensure a great product time and time again.
Projects
Each year, we like to produce our own creative holiday package for clients. By doing this, we can present everyone with a unique gift, and at the same time show off all of our departments. Last year's gift is a prime example of exactly how our integrated marketing works:
The idea was conceived entirely through OS39, our wholly-owned advertising and design firm. All the printing and finishing of the boxes and books (including bindery) was executed in our offset department. The customized coffee mugs, hot chocolate, schnapps, and chocolate were all coordinated though our promo department, and the final assembly was done at our plant.
It was a fun project, and a simple example of how our departments work together seamlessly.
Team
Sephora Cosmetics started using One Source to produce graphics when they opened their first store in the United States back in 1999. One Source hired one person to work specifically to handle all the graphic requests. As Sephora added more and more stores, their requests became more complex with tighter turnaround times. One Source formed an Integrated Marketing Team to handle the requests. This team did not merely process the mass amount of orders, but designed and managed the graphics, stored and retrieved all data and files, and inventoried and shipped all orders. We worked closely with the client to form a unique workflow to manage this complicated system.
Today we have a 12 person Sephora team that is a dedicated partner to assure all graphics are delivered on time to more then 120 stores throughout the country. | Back To Departments | Top |
OS 39
Who needs another ad agency or design studio.
Maybe you do.
Are you happy with your agency? Are they helping you sell more products or services? Are they creative enough? Do they charge too much? Do they deliver on time? Are you bored with them? Are they bored with you? Do you like the people you're dealing with? Do they like you?
If you answered NO to any of the above, maybe it's time for a change.
Change is good. In fact, we're in the process of changing our web site as we speak. That's why you're reading this instead of looking at our fabulous work or meeting our exceptionally creative people.
Our site should be right where we want it very soon. But if you need us now, just call Scott Glaser, president of OS39, and he'll be more than happy to present our work and our creative team to you.
